By accessing or using Evocos, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Evocos is an AI-powered portfolio builder that helps professionals create visual, evidence-based portfolios to demonstrate their qualifications for jobs. The service includes skill extraction, evidence coaching, and portfolio generation.

3. Alpha Program Notice

• The service is pre-release software under active development
• Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice
• You may encounter bugs or unexpected behavior
• There is no guarantee of service availability or uptime
• Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve the product

4. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Evocos
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on Evocos, including resumes, evidence items, descriptions, and artifacts. By using the service, you grant Evocos a limited license to:

• Store and display your content within the service
• Process your content with AI to provide features
• Display your published portfolio to viewers you share it with

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you provide.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications
• Upload content that infringes others' intellectual property rights
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Share your account credentials with others

7. AI-Generated Content

Evocos uses AI to provide suggestions, coaching, and content assistance. You understand that:

• AI suggestions are meant to assist, not replace, your own judgment
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content
• AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or inappropriate suggestions
• Final portfolio content is your responsibility

8. Intellectual Property

• Evocos owns the service, technology, branding, and all related intellectual property
• You own your content (see Section 5)
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute Evocos technology or branding

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Your continued use of Evocos after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
